The Wayne County Fair, an event that pre-dates the Civil War (the first one was held in 1849) will be held this year on Monday-Saturday, August 14-19, at the fairgrounds at 300 W Jackson Street in Palmyra.
Each day is jam-packed with events, from harness racing and a rooster crowing contest on Monday to tractor pulls and a pancake breakfast on Friday. You’ll find the full schedule of events here.
