Two New Members Join the Chamber

The Canal Connection Chamber of Commerce is delighted to welcome two new members. United Way of Wayne County and the Town of Marion have joined the Chamber and will work with us to promote business and industry in our region.

United Way of Wayne County

new members: United WayAt the United Way, regional director Carol Pettis and her team help the community thrive by uniting local resources and community goodwill. They recognize that education, health, and helping people in times of crisis are the building blocks for a good quality of life and a strong community.

The United Way supports a variety of organizations through their community fund, including the Boy and Girl Scouts, Catholic Charities of Wayne County, Foodlink, and Family Counseling Service of the Finger Lakes.

New Members: Town of MarionThe Town of Marion is another of the fine communities that thrive along the Erie Canal waterway. Marion is north of Palmyra. The town center is off Route 21 on Main Street. Nick Deming is the town supervisor, and you can find a list of local business and industry HERE.
