The Canal Connection Chamber of Commerce will host its first networking event of the year on May 9, 5:30-7:00 p.m. at the Humane Society at Lollypop Farm, 99 Victor Road, Fairport, NY 14450. All are invited to attend, with a special invitation extended to business owners in the Macedon/Palmyra/Walworth area. There is no fee, and no registration is required.
“The Canal Connection exists to bridge businesses and customers in communities along the Erie Canal in Western Wayne County,” says Chamber President Shelly Conboy of Lyons National Bank. ‘This event gives us a chance to get together in an informal environment and talk about the issues—especially economic ones—that face our towns.”
Refreshments will be served at the event, and attendees will also be able to take a tour of the Lollypop Farm facilities, including areas where cats, dogs, and other small animals are available for adoption. Lollypop Farm is committed to building lifelong bonds between people and animals through education, community outreach programs, and the prevention of cruelty.
The Canal Connection Chamber of Commerce brings together businesses and customers along the Erie Canal in Macedon, Palmyra, and Walworth.
