President — Shelly Conboy, assistant branch manager, Lyons National Bank

Shelly Conboy

Shelly Conboy has more than ten years of professional banking experience. She joined The Lyons National Bank (LNB) in November of 2012. Conboy currently oversees LNB’s Macedon location as Assistant Branch Manager. She stays community-minded with her involvement with the Chamber, where she has been board president for two years. As president, she is eager to jump start the Chamber’s involvement in local events and activities, as well as provide resources to the community. She supports the mission of the Chamber by strengthening relationships between local business owners and customers, creating unity from which the whole community can benefit. Conboy and her husband, Nick, reside in Farmington. In her free time, she enjoys boating and promoting essential oils.

Walton is Wayne County’s only Certified Professional Photographer and Photographic Craftsman. After leaving a career in electronics and telecommunications he opened a photography studio to pursue his passion as an artist. He and his wife also own and operate a tourist home in Palmyra.

Walton’s experience in management at a Fortune 50 company, coupled with his entrepreneurship, lead him to write 25 Things Business Owners Do to Undermine Their Business’ (And How to Avoid and Correct Them). In the late 80s and 90s, Walton had his own newspaper column in the San Francisco Bay Area, and has written numerous articles for several magazines.

Secretary — Mary Beth Reynolds, owner, Macedon Auto Center

Reynolds is the owner of Macedon Auto Center, Inc. with her husband, Ronnie. Macedon Auto Center has served Wayne County and the surrounding areas for more than 13 years, specializing in transmission building and diesel engines.

Reynolds has been a resident of Wayne County for 17 years. She and her husband have four children.  She is dedicated to helping  small businesses succeed in Wayne County, and brings her interpersonal skills and her deep knowledge of  the community to the board.

Treasurer — Stacey Wicksall, director, Macedon Public Library

Stacey Wicksall has been the director of Macedon Public Library for the past three years. She  received the “Library Innovator of the Year” award at the Pioneer Library System 2015 Annual Dinner. Previously, she directed Red Jacket Community Library in the Manchester-Shortsville School District. She received her master’s degree in library and information science from Syracuse University in December 2007.

As director, she enjoys connecting people and ideas and makes it a priority to target programs that invigorate the local business community. She strongly believes a library should mirror the desires and needs of a community and recognizes the strong potential for economic development in Wayne County.  For example, she has forged a strong partnership with SCORE, a non-profit organization that works with the U.S. Small Business Administration, in order to offer a series of entrepreneur workshops in the spring and fall.

Originally from Massena, NY, Stacey now resides in Geneva, NY with her husband of 23 years, Bob, two teenage children, Jay and Tori, and a spunky black lab, Flannigan.
